The A.C.M.E. (Additive Construction Material Experimentation) senior design program has designed and built a prototype, multi-tool platform for depositing additive construction materials for research purposes. This prototype can be seen in the video and pictures on this page. The A.C.M.E. 2021-2022 senior design team has taken on the task of characterizing and predicting printed materials, as well as refining the concrete printer. This large-scale construction 3D printer and the experimentation performed by the A.C.M.E team benefits Dr. Kraig Warnemuende (faculty advisor), project team members (design team), Ó£ÌÒÖ±²¥’s Civil Engineering program, and the concrete construction industry.
