Ó£ÌÒÖ±²¥’s Director of Fine Arts, Dr. Jim Taylor, has been invited to conduct a festival concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 10, 2019. His new 20-minute composition for choir and orchestra, Cambridge Songs Suite No. 2 will be premiered and presented at that concert, along with the wonderful Baroque work Magnificat by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi.
Members of the two Ó£ÌÒÖ±²¥ choirs, the LeTourneau Singers and the Longview Civic Chorus, are raising funds to be able to participate. Each singer’s cost is approximately $1700. You may make a donation to a particular singer by dedicating your gift to him or her, or to the group as a whole by not including a dedication. Singers can pay their required deposits on this site as well, either through their portal as an ambassador or by dedicating it to themselves.
